Yubalym (Jubilee) — 44

1 And Yashar'AL took his journey from Haran from his house on the New Moon of the third month and he went on the way of the Well of the Uath, and he offered a sacrifice to the 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH of his father Yachaq on the seventh of this month.

2 And Ya'aqub remembered the dream that he had seen at Bayt-AL, and he feared to go down into Mitzraym.

3 And while he was thinking of sending word to Ya'asaf to come to him, and that he would not go down, he remained there seven days, if perchance he could see a vision as to whether he should remain or go down.

4 And he celebrated the Harvest Feast of the First fruits with old grain, for in all the land of Kana'an there was not a handful of seed in the land, for the famine was over all the beasts and cattle and birds and also over man.

5 And on the sixteenth 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH appeared unto Ya'aqub, and said unto him: Ya'aqub, Ya'aqub; and he said: Here am I. And he said unto him: I AM the 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH of your fathers, the 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH of Abraham and Yachaq; fear not to go down into Mitzraym, for I will there make of you a great nation I will go down with you and I will bring you up again, and in this land shall you be buried and Ya'asaf shall put his hands upon your eyes.

6 Fear not; go down into Mitzraym.

7 And his sons rose up, and his sons' sons, and they placed their father and their possessions upon wagons.

8 And Yashar'AL rose up from the Well of the Uath on the sixteenth of this third month and Ya'aqub went to the land of Mitzraym.

9 And Yashar'AL sent Yahudah before him to his son Ya'asaf to examine the land of Gushan, for Ya'asaf had told his brothers that they should come and dwell there that they might be near him.

10 And this was the goodliest land in the land of Mitzraym, and near to him, for all of them and also for the cattle.

11 And these are the names of the sons of Ya'aqub who went into Mitsrayim with Ya'aqub their father Ra'uban, the firstborn of Yashar'AL;

12 And these are the names of his sons Chanuk, and Pallu, and Chatsrun and Karmiy, five.

13 Shim'un and his sons; and these are the names of his sons: Yamu'al, and Yamiyn, and Uhad, and Yakiyn, and Tsuchar, and Sha'ul, the son of the Tsephathiy woman, seven.

14 Lauy and his sons; and these are the names of his sons: Garshun, and Quhath, and Marariy, four. Yahudah and his sons; and these are the names of his sons:

15 Shalach, and Parats, and Zarach, four. Yisshakar and his sons; and these are the names of his sons:

16 Tula, and Pu'ah and Yub, and Shimrun, five.

17 Zabulun and his sons; and these are the names of his sons: Carad, and Aylun, and Yachla'al, four.

18 And these are the sons of Ya'aqub and their sons whom La'ah bore to Ya'aqub in Aram Naharayim, six, and their one sister, Diynah and all the souls of the sons of La'ah, and their sons, who went with Ya'aqub their father into Mitzraym, were twenty-nine, and Ya'aqub their father being with them, they were thirty.

19 And the sons of Zilpah, La'ah's handmaid, the woman of Ya'aqub, who bore unto Ya'aqub Gad and Ashar.

20 And there are the names of their sons who went with him into Mitzraym. The sons of Gad: Tsiphyun, and Chaggiy, and Shuniy, and Atsbun, and Ariy, and Ar'aliy, and Arbadiy, eight.

21 And the sons of Asher: Yimnah, and Yishbah, and Yishviy, and Bariy'ah, and Sarach, their one sister, six.

22 All the souls were fourteen, and all those of La'ah were forty-four.

23 And the sons of Rachal, the woman of Ya'aqub: Ya'asaf and Banyamiyn.

24 And there were born to Ya'asaf in Mitsrayim before his father came into Mitzraym, those whom Acanath, daughter of Potiyphar priest of Un bore unto him, Manassah, and Alphrayim, three.

25 And the sons of Banyamiyn: Bala and Bakar and Ashbal, Gara, and Na'aman, and Achiy, and Ru'sh, and Muppiym, and Chuppiym, and Ard, eleven.

26 And all the souls of Rachel were fourteen.

27 And the sons of Bilhah, the handmaid of Rachal, the woman of Ya'aqub, whom she bore to Ya'aqub, were Dan and Naphtaliy.

28 And these are the names of their sons who went with them into Mitzraym. And the sons of Dan were Chushiym, and Samun, and Asudi, and Iyaka, and Salumun, six.

29 And they died the year in which they entered into Mitzraym, and there was left to Dan Chushiym alone.

30 And these are the names of the sons of Naphtaliy Yachtsa'al, and Guniy and Yatsar, and Shallum, and Ib.

31 And Ib, who was born after the years of famine, died in Mitzraym. And all the souls of Rachal were twenty-six.

32 And all the souls of Ya'aqub which went into Mitsrayim were seventy souls.

33 These are his children and his children's children, in all seventy, but five died in Mitsrayim before Ya'asaf, and had no children.

34 And in the land of Kana'an, two sons of Yahudah died, Ar and Unan, and they had no children, and the children of Yashar'AL buried those who perished, and they were reckoned among the seventy nations of the other nations
