2nd Dabar-Hayamym (2 Chronicles) — 19

Yahushaphat’s Additional Reforms

1 Then Yahushaphat the king of Yahudah returned safely to his house in Yahushalam. 

2 And Yahu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to King Yahushaphat, “Should you help the wicked and love those who hate 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH? Therefore the wrath of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH  is upon you. 

3 Nevertheless good things are found in you, in that you have removed the wooden images from the land, and have prepared your heart to seek 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH.”

The Reforms of Yahushaphat 

4 So Yahushaphat dwelt at Yahushalam; and he went out again among the people from Baarshaba to the mountains of Aphraim, and brought them back to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH the  𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH of their fathers. 

5 Then he set judges in the land throughout all the fortified cities of Yahudah, city by city, 

6 and said to the judges, “Take heed to what you are doing, for you do not judge for man but for 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, who is with you in the judgment. 

7 Now therefore, let the fear of  𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH be upon you; take care and do it, for there is no iniquity with  𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH our 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH, no partiality, nor taking of bribes.”

8 Moreover in Yahushalam, for the judgment of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH and for controversies, Yahushaphat appointed some of the Lauym and Kuhanym, and some of the chief fathers of Yashar'AL, when they returned to Yahushalam. 

9 And he commanded them, saying, “Thus you shall act in the fear of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH, faithfully and with a loyal heart: 

10 Whatever case comes to you from your brethren who dwell in their cities, whether of bloodshed or offenses against law or commandments, against statutes or ordinances, you shall warn them, lest they trespass against 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH and wrath come upon you and your brethren. Do this, and you will not be guilty. 

11 And take notice: Amaryahu the chief Kuhan is over you in all matters of  𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH; and Zabadyahu the son of Ishmaal, the ruler of the house of Yahudah, for all the king’s matters; also the Lauym will be officials before you. Behave courageously, for 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH will be with the righteous.”
