1st Dabar-Hayamym (1 Chronicles) — 13

The Ark Brought from Kiryath-Yaarim

1 Then Daud consulted with the captains of thousands and hundreds, and with every leader. 

2 And Daud said to all the assembly of Yashar'AL, “If it seems good to you, and if it is of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH our 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH, let us send out to our brethren everywhere who are left in all the land of Yashar'AL, and with them to the Kuhanym and Lauym who are in their cities and their common-lands, that they may gather together to us; 

3 and let us bring the ark of our  𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH back to us, for we have not inquired at it since the days of Shaul.” 

4 Then all the assembly said that they would do so, for the thing was right in the eyes of all the people.

5 So Daud gathered all Yashar'AL together, from Shihur in Mitzraym to as far as the entrance of Hamath, to bring the ark of 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH from Kiryath Yaarym. 

6 And Daud and all Yashar'AL went up to Baalah, to Kiryath Yaarym, which belonged to Yahudah, to bring up from there the ark of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH our 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH, who dwells between the charubim, where His Name is proclaimed. 

7 So they carried the ark of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH on a new cart from the house of Abinadab, and Uzza and Ahiu drove the cart. 

8 Then Daud and all Yashar'AL played music before 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH with all their might, with singing, on harps, on stringed instruments, on tambourines, on cymbals, and with trumpets.

9 And when they came to Chidun’s threshing floor, Uzza put out his hand to hold the ark, for the oxen stumbled. 

10 Then the anger of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH was aroused against Uzza, and 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH struck Uzza because he put his hand to the ark; and he died there before Ark of the  𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH of Yashar'AL,

11 And Daud became angry because of  𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH’s outbreak against Uzza; therefore that place is called Paraz Uzza to this day. 

12 Daud was afraid of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH that day, saying, “How can I bring the ark of the 𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄_ALUAH of Yashar'AL to me?”

13 So Daud would not move the ark with him into the City of Daud, but took it aside into the house of Ubad-Adum the Gittite. 

14 The ark of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH remained with the family of Ubad-Adum in his house three months. And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH Baraked the house of Ubad-Adum and all that he had.
