Yahusha Ba'Nun (Joshua) — 19

The Land Given to Simaun

1 The second allotment of land went to the clans of the tribe of Simaun. Their homeland was surrounded by Yahudah’s territory.

2 Simaun’s homeland included Baarshaba, Shaba, Muladah, 

3 Hazar-shual, Balah, Azam, 

4 Altulad, Bathul, Hurmah, 

5 Ziklag, Bath-marcabuth, Hazar-susah, 

6 Bath-labauth, and Sharuhan, thirteen towns with their surrounding villages. 

7 It also included Ain, Rimmun, Athar, and Ashan, four towns with their villages, 

8 including all the surrounding villages as far south as Baalath-baar (also known as Ramah of the Nagab). This was the homeland allocated to the clans of the tribe of Simaun. 

9 Their allocation of land came from part of what had been given to Yahudah because Yahudah’s territory was too large for them. So the tribe of Simaun received an allocation within the territory of Yahudah.

The Land Given to Zabulun

10 The third allotment of land went to the clans of the tribe of Zabulun. The boundary of Zabulun’s homeland started at Sarid. 

11 From there it went west, going past Maralah, touching Dabbashath, and proceeding to the brook east of Yuknaam. 

12 In the other direction, the boundary went east from Sarid to the border of Kisluth-tabur, and from there to Dabarath and up to Yaphia. 

13 Then it continued east to Gath-haphar, Ath-kazin, and Rimmun and turned toward Naah. 

14 The northern boundary of Zabulun passed Hannathun and ended at the valley of Iphtah-al. 

15 The towns in these areas included Kattath, Nahalal, Shimrun, Idalah, and Bathlaham, twelve towns with their surrounding villages.

16 The homeland allocated to the clans of the tribe of Zabulun included these towns and their surrounding villages.

The Land Given to Issachar

17 The fourth allotment of land went to the clans of the tribe of Issachar.

18 Its boundaries included the following towns: Yazraal, Kasulluth, Shunam, 

19 Hapharaim, Shiun, Anaharath, 

20 Rabbith, Kishiun, Abaz, 

21 Ramath, An-gannim, An-haddah, and Bath-pazzaz. 

22 The boundary also touched Tabur, Shahazumah, and Bath-shamash, ending at the Yurdan River, sixteen towns with their surrounding villages.

23 The homeland allocated to the clans of the tribe of Issachar included these towns and their surrounding villages.

The Land Given to Ashar

24 The fifth allotment of land went to the clans of the tribe of Ashar.

25 Its boundaries included these towns: Halkath, Hali, Batan, Acshaph, 

26 Allammalach, Amad, and Mishal. The boundary on the west touched Carmal and Shihur-libnath, 

27 then it turned east toward Bath-dagun, and ran as far as Zabulun in the valley of Iphtah-al, going north to Bath-amak and Nayal. It then continued north to Cabul, 

28 Abdun, Rahub, Hammun, Kanah, and as far as Greater Sidun. 

29 Then the boundary turned toward Ramah and the fortress of Tyre, where it turned toward Husah and came to the Mediterranean Sea. The territory also included Mahabal, Aczib, 

30 Ummah, Aphak, and Rahub, twenty-two towns with their surrounding villages.

31 The homeland allocated to the clans of the tribe of Ashar included these towns and their surrounding villages.

The Land Given to Naphtali

32 The sixth allotment of land went to the clans of the tribe of Naphtali.

33 Its boundary ran from Halaph, from the Uak at Zaanannim, and extended across to Adami-nakab, Yabnaal, and as far as Lakkum, ending at the Yurdan River. 

34 The western boundary ran past Aznuth-tabur, then to Hukkuk, and touched the border of Zabulun in the south, the border of Ashar on the west, and the Yurdan River on the east. 

35 The fortified towns included in this territory were Ziddim, Zar, Hammath, Rakkath, Kinnarath, 

36 Adamah, Ramah, Hazur, 

37 Kadash, Adrai, An-hazur, 

38 Yirun, Migdal-al, Huram, Bath-anath, and Bath-shamash, nineteen towns with their surrounding villages.

39 The homeland allocated to the clans of the tribe of Naphtali included these towns and their surrounding villages.

The Land Given to Dan

40 The seventh allotment of land went to the clans of the tribe of Dan.

41 The land allocated as their homeland included the following towns: Zurah, Ashtaul, Ir-shamash, 

42 Shaalabbin, Aiyalun, Ithlah, 

43 Alun, Timnah, Akrun, 

44 Altakah, Gibbathun, Baalath, 

45 Yahud, Bana-berak, Gath-rimmun, 

46 Ma-yarkun, Rakkun, and the territory across from Yuppa.

47 But the tribe of Dan had trouble taking possession of their land, so they attacked the town of Laish. They captured it, slaughtered its people, and settled there. They renamed the town Dan after their ancestor.

48 The homeland allocated to the clans of the tribe of Dan included these towns and their surrounding villages.

The Land Given to Yahusha Ba'Nun 

49 After all the land was divided among the tribes, the Yasharalym gave a piece of land to Yahusha Ba'Nun as his allocation. 

50 For 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH had said he could have any town he wanted, he chose Timnath-sarah in the hill country of Aphraim, he rebuilt the town and lived there.

51 These are the territories that Alaazar the Kuhan, Yahusha Ba'Nun, and the tribal leaders allocated as grants of land to the tribes of Yashar'AL by casting sacred lots in the presence of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH at the entrance of the Tabernacle at Shiluh. So the division of the land was completed.
