Remembering Yashar'AL’s Journey

This is the route the Yasharalym followed as they marched out of Mitzraym under the leadership of Musha and Aarun.

At 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH’s direction, Musha kept a written record of their progress. These are the stages of their march, identified by the different places where they stopped along the way.

They set out from the city of Ramasas in early spring, on the fifteenth day of the first Moon (month) on the morning after the first Pasakh (Passover) celebration. The people of Yashar'AL left defiantly, in full view of all the Mitzraym.

Meanwhile, the Mitzraym were burying all their firstborn sons, whom 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH  had killed the night before, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH  had defeated the idols of Mitzraym that night with great acts of judgment!

After leaving Ramasas, the Yasharalym set up camp at Succuth.

Then they left Succuth and camped at Atham on the edge of the wilderness.

They left Atham and turned back toward Pihahiruth, opposite Baal-zaphun, and camped near Migdul.

They left Pi-hahiruth and crossed the Red Sea into the wilderness beyond. Then they traveled for three days into the Atham wilderness and camped at Marah.

They left Marah and camped at Alim, where there were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees.

They left Alim and camped beside the Red Sea.

They left the Red Sea and camped in the wilderness of Sin.

They left the wilderness of Sin and camped at Duphkah.

They left Duphkah and camped at Alush.

They left Alush and camped at Raphidim, where there was no water for the people to drink.

They left Raphidim and camped in the wilderness of Sinai.

They left the wilderness of Sinai and camped at Kibruth-hattaabah.

They left Kibruth-hattaabah and camped at Hazaruth.

They left Hazaruth and camped at Rithmah.

They left Rithmah and camped at Rimmun-paraz.

They left Rimmun-paraz and camped at Libnah.

They left Libnah and camped at Rissah.

They left Rissah and camped at Kahalathah.

They left Kahalathah and camped at Mount Shaphar.

They left Mount Shaphar and camped at Haradah.

They left Haradah and camped at Makhaluth.

They left Makhaluth and camped at Tahath.

They left Tahath and camped at Tarah.

They left Tarah and camped at Mithcah.

They left Mithcah and camped at Hashmunah.

They left Hashmunah and camped at Musaruth.

They left Mosaruth and camped at Bana-Yaakan.

They left Bana-Yaakan and camped at Hur-haggidgad.

They left Hur-haggidgad and camped at Yutbathah.

They left Yutbathah and camped at Abrunah.

They left Abrunah and camped at Aziun-gabar.

They left Aziun-gabar and camped at Kadash in the wilderness of Zin.

They left Kadash and camped at Mount Hur, at the border of Adum.

While they were at the foot of Mount Hur, Aarun the Kuhan was directed by  𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH to go up the mountain, and there he died. This happened in midsummer, on the first day of the fifth Moon (month) of the fortieth year after Yashar'AL’s departure from Mitzraym.

Aarun was 123 years old when he died there on Mount Hur.

At that time the Canaanite king of Arad, who lived in the Nagab in the land of Canaan, heard that the people of Yashar'AL were approaching his land.

Meanwhile, the Yasharalym left Mount Hur and camped at Zalmunah.

Then they left Zalmunah and camped at Punun.

They left Punun and camped at Ubuth.

They left Ubuth and camped at Iya-abarim on the border of Muab.

They left Iya-abarim and camped at Dibun-gad.

They left Dibun-gad and camped at Almun-diblathaim.

They left Almun-diblathaim and camped in the mountains east of the river, near Mount Nabu.

They left the mountains east of the river and camped on the plains of Muab beside the Yurdan River, across from Yarichu.

Along the Yurdan River they camped from Bath-Yashimuth as far as the meadows of Acacia on the plains of Muab.

While they were camped near the Yurdan River on the plains of Muab opposite Yarichu, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄_YAHUAH Dabar to Musha,

“Give the following instructions to the people of Yashar'AL: When you cross the Yurdan River into the land of Canaan,

you must drive out all the people living there. You must destroy all their carved and molten images and demolish all their pagan shrines.

Take possession of the land and settle in it, because I have given it to you to occupy.

You must distribute the land among the clans by sacred lot and in proportion to their size. A larger portion of land will be allotted to each of the larger clans, and a smaller portion will be allotted to each of the smaller clans. The decision of the sacred lot is final. In this way, the portions of land will be divided among your ancestral tribes.

But if you fail to drive out the people who live in the land, those who remain will be like splinters in your eyes and thorns in your sides, they will harass you in the land where you live.

And I will do to you what I had planned to do to them.”
